King of the Castle

On the third day of adventures my true love gave to me… Osaka Castle looking as beautiful as can be!

Ok, my rhyming has much to be desired, but Osaka Castle does not.

It stands a true monument to the rich heritage and history of Japanese culture.

In another department, being true to my outlandish self, I got a chance to play dress up as a Japanese Samurai. Complete with a funky helmet.

Samurai Leilani?

After scaling all 9 flights of stairs (and some extra steps again) we had a magnificent view of the Osaka area. Unfortunately, my panorama photograph didn’t turn out so perfect. I’ll source something just as spectacular though… my purchases!

Tomorrow is Nara Park. Oh Deer! (Pun intended.)
