Never did the world make a queen of a girl who hides in houses and dreams without travelling.
To make a difference, you need to be a difference.
Welcome to Generation Y-do-I-have-to-do-it?, where we are forever procrastinating and making excuses for ourselves to get out of responsibilities.
Sometimes, even the responsibilities that are fun, like taking care of ourselves and working hard for our hopes and dreams.
One of my favourite quotes, goes:
Wish for what you want. Work for what you need.
I wonder where is the line between wanting and needing.
“Can you live without it?”
“Then you don’t need it!”
I can certainly get by without writing everyday, but I definitely need to write at least a LITTLE something each day to keep my sanity and my creativity going.
In the great words of Maya Angelou:
You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.
I understand. Life is busy, we get tired, and it can seem like there are never enough hours in the day to get done what you want to get done.
But if we don’t try, then we’re never going to succeed.
So whether you’re working all day, or you have to lock yourself in a room to complete an assignment.
Do what you have to do… But make sure you give it all that you’ve got!
